T. R. GUPTA PUBLIC CHARITABLE TRUST (REGD)
Sh. T R GUPTA was born on 26th Jan 2029 in a small village Rattian, Tehsil R.S. Pura, District Jammu, is a renowned Philanthropist, Dhanveer and a successful entrepreneur starting his businesss from a Karyana shop in a village to establish "TRG INDUSTRIES PRIVATE LTD", with its PAN - INDIA presence in construction business. His company has achieved many awards and has constructed many major barrages, road bridges, major railway bridges & and ROB bridges, major highways, aqueducts, major & mini hydroelectric power projects, etc.
T. R. Gupta is so loved and adored by the people because of his easily approachable nature, humility and compassion that Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha unanimously elected him as President, the post in which he served the biradari with full dedication and sincerity from 1991 to 1997 and in 1997 he was given the responsibility of the Presidentship of AKHIL BHARTIYA MAHAJAN SHIROMANI SABHA NEW DELHI from 1997 to 2006.
During his tenure he executed many Development works like dismantling and reconstruction of the old Mahajan Sabha building at Parade Ground, near Sabji Mandi at Jammu, Construction of Mehar Chand Mahajan Charitable Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Reconstruction of Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha Delhi Office into a magnificent building and last but not the least construction of Mahajan Bhawan at Haridwar with 154 double bed rooms with attached bath rooms and all other amenities, a home for most comfortable stay for every person irrespective of any caste, creed and religion who visits the pious city. For his dedication, popularity, and achievements, the grateful Biradari, in an All- INDIA Conference, bestowed upon him the title of "MAHAJAN RATTAN".
During his tenure, he provided personal financial donations for the construction of Mahajan Halls/ Bhawans in different cities of the country. Also arranged through donations and provided more than 30 to 40 lacs Rupees yearly as financial assistance to widows and destitutes of all india Biradari throughout his tenure.
He has regularly contributed to the welfare of needy persons, social / charitable organizations, religious causes, orphanages, and old age homes for the protection of cows.etc. and also donated liberally when our nation faced any serious calamity or pandemic. He also donated an ambulance to Central Mahajan Sabha Jammu for public use. That is the reason he is also called "BHAMA SHAH" of Jammu.
At the age of 90 years, a thought came to his mind to start our own trust, and thus, he founded T. R. GUPTA PUBLIC CHARITABLE TRUST, which shall work for the welfare of society in general. The said Trust is established on a plot of 12 Marlas donated by him, situated at Village Channi Kamala, Tehsil Bahu, Jammu. Besides he has donated a huge amount of money for carrying out the activities of the Trust. The Jurisdiction of the Trust shall be throughout India and was established on 22nd October 2018.
After completing his 91 years of illustrious life Sh. T.R. Gupta donated the cheques of Rs. 1,42,28000/- to various socio/Religious organizations, Charitable Trusts/Hospitals/Dispensaries, cremation places, blind schools, widows, destitutes, cancer patients, Gou Raksha Samiti, Generator sets for temples and senior citizens centre, home for mentally challenged children, Prime Minister Care account, construction of Ram Janam Bhoomi Temple etc.
The said trust shall provide financial assistance to poor, needy, deserving/ outstanding students, poor helpless patients, poor disabled and aged persons, poor deserving sports persons for the improvement of their skills in sports and provide free meals/ food by arranging langars. Besides this, the starting of Free Multispeciality clinics with free Medicines.
The trust immediately after it inception constructed a multistoried building, which is air conditioned and has lift facility, intercom facilities and is running Free Multispeciality Clinics with Free Pharmacy daily, including Sundays and other allied services like USG,LAB, PHYSIOTHERAPY, etc, at much discounted rates, about 40% to 70%, less than the market rates with facilities of Home collection of blood samples.
Inauguration of the Building and First clinic was done on 2nd September 2022 with a single physician from 10 am to 1 pm along with Free Pharmacy and at present, there are three physicians coming in shifts from 10 am to 8 pm, including Sundays from 12 noon to 3pm. Similarly, physiotherapy started in December 2022 with a single physiotherapist, and at present, there are three physiotherapists from 11am to 8pm, including Sundays from 12 noon to 3pm. Fully Automated Laboratory was established in 2023 and is operating daily from 7am to 8pm, including Sundays from 7am to 3pm. In the year 2023 the Trust also stated USG facilities from 9 am to 11pm daily, except on Sundays. ECG also in 2023, with facilities of Nebulization, injections, and dressings. Other specialities once a week for two hours like Pediatrics, dermatology, orthopedics and ophthalmology in 2023, and Gynae & OBST in 2025.
The Trustees may receive payment of money from all courts, institutions, tribunals, local authorities, and departments of the State and Central Govt.
